On this small group tour, two of San Francisco’s top attractions—the majestic Muir Woods redwood forest and a delightful journey through California’s wine country, including the Napa and Sonoma Valleys—are combined for a unique, singular experience.
Following your San Francisco pick-up, we head north, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge on our way to beautiful Marin County.
You’ll discover more about the Sequoia sempervirens, also referred to as Redwood trees, the tallest trees in the world as you make your way to Muir Woods. After entering the National Monument, you will have time to yourself to enjoy the forest and all of it’s natural wonders.
As we keep traveling north toward the Sonoma Valley, the center of the California wine industry, we stop by our first vineyard and sample its wines before lunch. The next stop is at the Sonoma Plaza, where you can enjoy a delicious wine country lunch, as well as a stroll around the iconic square.
After lunch, it’s onto the Napa Valley, where we will visit two more wineries. While taking in the breathtaking views of the rolling vineyards, you’ll also be able to enjoy a tasting of some different Californian wines.
As we make our way back to San Francisco, there will be a final stop at the Golden Gate Bridge, where you will have the opportunity for a stunning photo shoot before your drop-off. What a fabulous day!
